Essential Broadcasting Skills Course


Flipside Radio is running a new ten week course suitable for people new to community radio & those who wish to build upon existing skills.

The course will be hosted by Lache Community Development Trust,  a quality assured adult skills and learning provider, and is being funded by 'Community Learning and Skills in Cheshire' .

More About This Course

This is a non accredited course but all participants will receive a certificate of achievement upon completing the course. It is suitable for beginners and for those who have some experience but would like to improve on their current skills and knowledge.

Course topics will include: Studio Operation, Location Recording ,Editing and Post Production, How internet radio works, Presenting Skills ,Interview Skills, and much more…

What will I get out of the course? Learn new skills, meet new people, opportunity to be creative,  receive a certificate, develop and demonstrate employment skills,  opportunity to volunteer at Flipside Radio.

Am I eligible to do this course? 

If you are aged 19+ and live in the Cheshire West & Chester area then you may be eligible. This is subject to availability.
