Chester Live gets underway this week. Running from 16th - 19th June 2016, Chester Live is an independent multi-venue music festival organised by Dan Read from The Core promotions / The Live Rooms.
The festival will see Chester overrun (in a good way) with bands and musicians performing in venues across the city including Telford’s Warehouse, The Live Rooms, The Chester Band Stand, St Werburgh’s Parish Centre and Alexander’s. It will cover a broad range of music including acoustic folk, rock, metal and much more.
Local heroes such as Campfire Social, Jon Coley, Dead Pixels, Idel Frets, Green Room, Baby Brave, and The Roseville Band will all be appearing alongside dozen more acts from the local area and beyond, including 80’s new wave pop band The Undertones.
Flipside Radio is also playing a small part in proceedings, with ‘Flipside Waterside’ where we’ll be bringing the sunshine tunes to Telford’s beer garden in support of US artist Bree.
